Four cars were extensively damaged by fire at a home in Southee Crt, Oakhurst at 1.30am, Friday, August, 31.
Residents were woken by the sound of fire damaging several cars parked in their driveway.
The owners used a garden hose to extinguish the fire and moved another vehicle parked nearby onto the roadway to prevent the fire from spreading.
NSW Fire Brigade helped extinguished the fire.
The fire is considered suspicious.
Mt Druitt police are investigating the circumstances.

*A man and a woman have been charged in relation to a series of frauds at service stations across Mt Druitt.
Just before 4pm on Friday (August 31), police pulled over a Mazda sedan on Rotuma Street, Oakhurst.
Police spoke to the male driver who was identified as being wanted for fraud.
A serach of the car found several items of interest relating to various fraud offences recently committed.
The female was later located at Oakhurst address and later charged at Mt Druitt Police Station with various fraud matters.
Both will face Penrith Local Court on September 24.

*A Silverdale man, 53 was charged with high range drink diring on Saturday (September 1)
Police stopped Nissan sedan in Tongariro Terrace, Bidwill at around 9.50am for a random breath test.
The man provided a positive test and was taken to Mt Druitt Police Station, where he providied a blood alcohol reading of 0.150, three times the legal limit.
His licence was suspended and will face Mt Druitt Local Court on October 11.
