Picture: John VeageCRONULLA Sharks centre Ben Pomeroy could miss the teams sudden death semi-final after being referred straight to the NRL judiciary for a shoulder charge on North Queensland ace Jonathan Thurston in the final four minutes of the clash at Toyota Stadium yesterday afternoon.

Pomeroy became the first player to be charged by the NRL judiciary under the new shoulder charges policy.

If he is found guilty of the dangerous contact he will miss the clash against Canberra on Sunday as he has 73 carry over points from a previous charge.

The Sharks have until midday tomorrow to enter a plea.
