Rouse Hill Town Centre will hold an Organic Food and Farmers Market every Saturday starting on September 1.

The market will be open from 9am until 1pm.

There will be more than 30 stalls specialising in organic and conventional fresh fruit and vegetables, free-range farm meat, bread, cakes, eggs, dry goods, flowers, homewares and handicrafts.

Town Centre senior marketing manager Carly Xerri said the market was a welcome addition to Rouse Hill.

“We are excited to partner with Organic Food Markets and provide north-western Sydney with a weekly food market,” Ms Xerri said.

“We have a very strong fresh food offer at Rouse Hill Town Centre and these markets will complement that. We are committed to providing opportunities for local businesses to connect with the community.

“These markets form part of our continuing sustainability commitment we have at Rouse Hill Town Centre.”

Markets co-ordinator Elizabeth Taylor said the business had co-ordinated more than 15 markets during the past 20 years.

“We are pleased to bring these weekly markets to Rouse Hill,” Ms Taylor said. “These markets will not only be high-quality fresh food, but there will also be pony rides and a jumping castle to entertain the kids.”
