SCHOOL teams entering the inaugural Hills News M2 Run for The Hills have an extra incentive to help raise funds that will save little lives.
The highest fund-raising school team will win a private AMF bowling party for up to 200 students to play two games and have lunch.
AMF Bowling Centre’s Matthew Whitten said Run for The Hills was the perfect fit for AMF.
“AMF are very excited to be a gold sponsor of such an exciting inaugural event being held in the wonderful Hills, and importantly to help raise funds for Reach for the Rainbow.”
The inaugural Run for The Hills — an 8-kilometre fun run and festival in the heart of The Hills — is the major fund-raiser for charity Reach for the Rainbow. It will be held on October 7.
The charity raises funds to support the lives of babies and preschoolers with delays or disabilities by accessing vital early intervention services.
Reach for the Rainbow founder Yvonne Keane hopes to fund the world’s first early intervention hub where families can access comprehensive specialists and early intervention services at little or no cost.
“Not only will AMF be running great promotions for families and children at the Run for the Hills Festival on Main Street, but they have created an absolutely amazing prize for the AMF School Challenge,” Mrs Keane said.
School teams that enter the event will receive an AMF school’s discount pack with the team that raises the most winning a private weekday AMF bowling party valued at $4800.
To be eligible schools need to enter their team online.
