App aids students

Students on Youth Allowance, Austudy or AbStudy will no longer have to call or visit Centrelink to check their payments, thanks to a new app for iPhones and iPads. Lindsay MP David Bradbury said the new ExpressPlus student app could benefit 1775 students. “This new app is user-friendly and will save students time,” he said.

The app helps monitor the accuracy of payments by sending notifications to students reminding them when they have to report. The app was developed by the Department of Human Services.

Download the free ExpressPlus student app from Apple’s App Store.
